Sejong Soloists Gala Concert

Toomai Quintet presented by United in Sound
A program of newly arranged works explores the relationship that the US jazz scene has had with the Latin American diaspora, and how the two traditions have intertwined and influenced each other. The concert features Toomai’s original arrangements for string quintet of music by (or popularized by) Duke Ellington, Antônio Carlos Jobim, Paquito D’Rivera, Milton Nascimento, La Lupe, and others. Multifaceted vocalist Jennifer Jade Ledesna joins this acclaimed ensemble for several songs. Sebago-Long Lake Music Festival
The Tuesday night chamber music series is the signature event of the SLLMF season. These live concerts are held at the historic Deertrees Theatre located at the top of Long Lake in Harrison, Maine.
